Beijing's flagship news program and associated news channels devote considerable time and resources to the Gaza war -CCTV has camera crews and reporters across the Mideast, including Israel and Gaza.

CCTV’s “World Express” report on November 6 offers a good example of China’s evolving coverage of Gaza. It opens with news of a mounting death toll and an image of a smoking building that was bombed by Israel early on in the conflict.
