The terror attack in Kerman, Iran that killed 84 is the top foreign news story today, with condolences from Xi and CCTV sending a crew to the scene.

“Two bombs exploded and killed 84 people at a commemoration for Qassem Soleimani, a prominent Iranian general slain by the United States in a 2020 drone strike, Iranian officials said on Thursday, revising down an earlier toll from the blasts.” (Xinhua)

This is noteworthy because China was virtually silent on the October 7 terror attack on Israel and no condolences were offered.
